Supporting Parents of Children with ADHD: How Endora Helps Reduce Stress and Build Confidence
Parenting a child or teen with ADHD can be deeply rewarding, but it can also be overwhelming. Research by Zhang and colleagues (2025) highlights a challenge many parents quietly face: affiliate stigma, or the feeling of being judged or blamed because of their child’s ADHD. This stigma can increase parenting stress, especially when parents feel unsupported by family, friends, schools, or the wider community. The study also shows something hopeful, strong social support can significantly reduce stress and buffer the effects of stigma.
